ACC Ballers: Standings Week

You all have spoken and it seems like UNC's Wayne Ellington is your unanimous choice to shoot the ball with the game on the line. Can't really say I disagree. Yet another reason why the Heels are the most complete team in the ACC.

Another volatile week in the ACC was capped off by a Boston College upset over another Tobacco Road school and a tough win by UNC down in Coral Gables. The ACC season is now in full tilt and a number of developments have taken place over the course of the year. Here are a few tidbits to keep you up to date:

- UNC Senior G/F Marcus Ginyard will miss the remainder of the year. Sophomore F William Graves has been suspended for the remainder of the season.
- UNC Freshman C Tyler Zeller, who was expected to miss the remainder of the year, may return to the lineup as early as Wednesday 2/18.
- Virginia Tech Sophomore F Jeff Allen will be suspended one game (Wednesday at Virginia) for inappropriate behavior after he was fouled in a game against Maryland this past Saturday.

ACC Ballers' Performance of the Week....

This week the award definitely goes to UNC guard Tywon Lawson. While leading his team to two road victories against Duke and Miami Lawson averaged 23 points, 4.5 assists, while going a perfect 11-11 from the line.
